TransComm is an event held by AASHTO and transportation communication professionals each year. In 2016, the event was held in Charleston, West Virginia, and it employed the theme of "Finding the Common Threads of Communications," using the analogy of the making of Appalachian quilts from different pieces of fabric, but creating a comprehensive piece. This is the welcoming film for that event, deliberately avoiding cliches and using the quilting theme in a modern, abstract manner.
